常見的護(hù)欄材質(zhì)有鋁合金、PVC、鋅鋼、鐵、石材、玻璃、木材等等。不同的位置需要不同的護(hù)欄材質(zhì)。譬如別墅陽臺、露臺一般可以選用石材、不銹鋼、鋅鋼等，如果是封閉陽臺，可以用木材、玻璃等；而花園護(hù)欄一般可以選用不銹鋼、鋁合金和鋅鋼等。

        三、鋅鋼（鋁合金）是金屬材質(zhì)中顏色豐富的一種，它有良好的柔韌性，容易塑形，而且安裝簡單，甚至不用焊接就可以輕松裝好護(hù)欄。
        四、PVC（聚氯乙烯啊）護(hù)欄又被稱為塑鋼護(hù)欄，就是在塑料里加入合適的型鋼，以保證護(hù)欄穩(wěn)固性的一種護(hù)欄材質(zhì)，常用作室外圍欄、花園圍欄等。PVC不用噴涂油漆，不需要特別護(hù)理，它沒有尖銳的棱角，硬度也比較低，而且抗老化性。
